Designed in the Netherlands

Made by operators.

The Gearseat was designed by camera operators who wanted a cleaner, faster and more controlled way to move a working camera package between locations.

The problem

Camera transport is part of the shoot

Moving a fully rigged camera from one location to the next should not mean loose gear, unnecessary rebuilds or improvised trunk layouts. The Gearseat began as a practical answer to that production-day problem.

It is engineered around real car interiors, real camera plates and the way operators already work under time pressure.

Principles

  • Use existing vehicle anchor points.
  • Respect common camera department hardware.
  • Keep the platform compact and easy to handle.
  • Assemble with durable, replaceable parts.

Engineering and assembly

Built close to the crews it serves.

The Gearseat is engineered and assembled in the Netherlands. Local assembly keeps quality control close and makes it easier to refine the product around operator feedback.
