Locate the rear-seat anchor points
Use the ISOFIX/LATCH points in a compatible modern car. Make sure the rear seat and anchor points are accessible before loading camera equipment.
Repeatable transport workflow
The Gearseat turns the rear seat into a dedicated camera transport position, reducing breakdown time between locations and keeping rigs out of the trunk.
Setup flow
Exact installation and securing should always follow the product manual. The workflow below shows the intended structure for positioning the platform and preparing a camera for transport.
Use the ISOFIX/LATCH points in a compatible modern car. Make sure the rear seat and anchor points are accessible before loading camera equipment.
Connect the platform to the anchor points and check that it is seated correctly against the car seat surface.
Use the baseplate with 1/4" and 3/8" camera screws, or set up a compatible quick release workflow such as VCT-14, ARRI dovetail or Touch & Go.
Mount the camera to the selected plate or baseplate, confirm the lock, and secure the rig before the vehicle moves.
The included clip helps prevent seatbelt warning noise during transport when the rear seat position is occupied by gear instead of a passenger.
Operator thinking
The point is not to replace cases or careful handling. It is to give operators a fast, dedicated, repeatable place for a working camera package during short transfers.
